River Valley Goldens has a World Class of English Cream Golden Retrievers. Originally from Europe, we breed with the best lines and health clearances. All puppies are AKC registered, immunized and wormed.
We are committed to make your PICK process clear and easy. Below, you will find the steps of the process. Some steps are subject to negotiation based on the needs of the buyer. All questions are welcomed.
STEP 1
CONTACT US
The purpose of the conversation is for you to let us know your puppy of choice (male or female) AND for us to learn about the environment you will provide for one of the River Valley Goldens.

STEP 2
DEPOSIT $400
YOU need to deposit $400 to be on THE WAITING LIST for a River Valley Golden.
YOU reserve the available NEXT PICK. Let us know if you want a BOY or a GIRL, as PET or FULL REGISTRATION.
FIRST PICK and sometimes SECOND PICK when available will be FULL REGISTRATION.
Deposit is refundable up until Step 3 starts, which means that you've been been informed that puppies have arrived and that there is a puppy available for you.
STEP 3
PUPPY ARRIVAL &
50% BALANCE
WE will inform after the puppies arrive.
WE confirm that there is a puppy available.
At that time YOU owe 50% of the BALANCE.
STEP 4
MAKE A PICK
YOU make your PICK when puppies are SIX weeks of age.
WE will email multiple pictures of each puppy. Starting with the person having the FIRST PICK we email everyone on the list. Each person has 8 hours to make a decision.
YOU pick the name of the puppy. His/her name will start with “River Valley.” (Example – River Valley Dreamer). This will be the official recorded name. You can have any “Call” name you choose.
STEP 5
DEPOSIT 50% OF THE BALANCE
YOU deposit the remaining 50% of the balance at the SIXTH week, after you make your PICK.
THIS 50% is refundable, if for whatever reason, you want to walk away from the deal before the PICK UP DATE at the end of the EIGHTH WEEK.
STEP 6
PICK UP YOUR PUPPY
YOU are responsible to PICK UP your puppy on the pre-scheduled PICK UP DATE after the puppy turns 8 weeks old. Occasionally we are willing/able to drive/deliver your puppy for a fee. Arrangements would have to be agreed upon in advance.
YOU may choose to PICK UP your puppy later than the PICK UP DATE if we are able to accomodate. When we are able to give you this option, we will provide care for $70 per day.
STEP 7
PAPERS
YOU will be provided with AKC LITTER registration papers.
YOU will be provided with records for current shots and worming.
YOU will be provided with a GUARANTEE document that you need to sign, discussed with you in advance.
YOU will be provided with a Raising Goldens document that will give you all the basics for raising a healthy and happy River Valley Golden (such as food, vaccinations, etc.)
